Double Barrel was established in 2018 by a small group of determined partners. From the beginning, it quickly earned a strong reputation for serving hearty breakfasts and offering a welcoming place to enjoy a delicious treat. Behind the scenes, however, Double Barrel has always stood for much more than great food. Its generous owners consistently supported charitable causes, contributed to fundraisers, and gave back to the community in meaningful ways.
During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Double Barrel not only persevered but thrived—continuing to serve others by providing daily sack lunches to children while schools were closed.
Today, that torch has been passed to me and my family, Great Falls natives and active members of the community. We are proud to carry forward the heart and soul of Double Barrel by continuing to serve scratch-made, hearty breakfasts with the same charitable spirit. While we have introduced some updates, we’ve preserved the familiar experience our customers love—offering a refreshed menu that includes both longtime favorites and new items to enjoy.
Another key mission at Double Barrel is promoting transparency and health in the food we serve. We believe that when you dine out, you deserve to know where your food comes from and what it contains. To support this, we proudly display our food suppliers in our dining area so guests can make informed choices. Our goal is to source as much as possible from local producers. We also strive to eliminate seed oils from our cooking, using only butter and lard, and we offer soy-free meats and breads. Additionally, we offer coffee syrups that are free from artificial dyes and sweeteners.
At Double Barrel, we believe that everything we receive should be reinvested into the community—from our employees, to buying locally produced food, and contributing to the many charitable causes we serve. Every purchase made at Double Barrel goes far beyond a meal—it helps strengthen and give back to the community we are proud to be a part of.
